WHO SENT HIM INFO REGARDING MAKING OUR POA MEMBERS ELIGIBLE FOR TAX

- PJ
EXPLAINED THAT DUE TO THE VIRAL HEMORRHAGIC SEPTICEMIA (VHS) PROBLEM IN FISH, WALLEYES MAY NOT
BE AVAILABLE FOR STOCKING THIS YEAR.
HE SUGGESTED THAT IF OUTHER
LAKES DON’T PURSUE
STOCKING, THE TRIBE’S SUPPLY WILL BE SO GREAT THERE IS A POSSIBLITY OF
BUYING THEM AT A CHEAPER RATE. VHS
DOES NOT AFFECT HUMANS, BUT WOULD KILL ANY FISH –IT COULD BE DEVASTATING
FOR ANY LAKE WHERE IT TOOK HOLD.
MEETING ADJOURNED….If you have
additions or corrections to these minutes, let us know.
Letter to be sent to Land and

Re:
August 6, 2007
meeting to consider Round Lake Watershed
Management Plan Options.
The Osprey Lake Property Owners
urge that any plan for the Round Lake Watershed reflect natural conditions and require minimal management. We are opposed to any dredging of Osprey
Creek below the Carlson Rd
dam and any large-scale removal of beaver dams below Osprey Lake.
